The Investors in People accreditation is an assessment of good people management practice. Designed by leading academics, practitioners and industry experts, the internationally-recognised accreditation has become the gold-standard of people management.
Organisations are assessed across nine areas, each sitting under one of three criteria: Leading, Supporting and Improving. In order to gain the accreditation, organisations are required to show that they meet each of these criteria.
To achieve the higher levels of accreditation – such as Silver and Gold – organisations have to go even further, and are benchmarked against global industry practice.
To gain the Gold accreditation, an organisation must show that it meets all of the nine criteria at a “developed” or “established” level, and that it meets seven of the nine criteria at an “advanced” level.
