We Were Delighted to Be Crowned the Winners at the Comms Business Awards

 

On Thursday 21^st July, our team were suited and booted ready to attend the annual Comms Business Awards at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. The Comms Business Awards celebrate businesses who are making a difference by providing outstanding solutions and service. Our attendance was the result of our bespoke, care-planning solution, Eden, being shortlisted for the Best ICT Solution Award and you can imagine our excitement when it was announced that we won! Eden – Our Award-Winning Care-Planning Solution

Let’s start off by shining a spotlight on the star of the show – our award-winning solution! Eden is a bespoke, cloud-based, care-planning software and application that was designed and created by our very own technology experts and engineers within Elite Group. Eden was created for our customer, who is based in the care industry, and needed an all-in-one solution that enabled them to schedule and organise care provision and manage rostering and payroll, as well as provide communication between team members and the family members of those within their care.

This solution provided a range of benefits for the customer, namely:

• A feature-rich, custom, web-based solution and application.
• Reliability, as the solution is hosted within Microsoft Azure for maximum up time and availability, enhanced with our 24-hour support.
• Scalability, with our customer having the ability to easily add or remove service users and staff members, as required.
• Our customer can manage, monitor and generate reports from one admin interface.
• Conforms to stringent specifications for securing business information, customer privacy and computer networks, backed by our ISO 27001, ISO9001 and ISO 22301 accreditations.
• Bespoke development time to tailor new and existing features to meet their specific business needs, as they grow.

 

Comms Business Awards Ceremony

A selection of our team attended the fantastic, black-tie, Comms Business Awards ceremony, hosted by comedian, Ardal O’Hanlon at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. We invited representatives from across a range of departments across the business:

Within our category, we were up against five other companies who had also created outstanding IT solutions. We were delighted when it was our name that was called as the winner of the Best ICT Solution award! This award is testament to the hard work, dedication and knowledge of our incredible team. Speaking on our win, our Senior Developer, who was in attendance at the ceremony, Sian Rogers said:

“What a wonderful honour! We are grateful for this recognition of two and a half years of hard work that our team has contributed to the Eden project. I could not be more proud of the team and the achievement of this award.”
