The Background

Countrywide is the UK’s largest property services group, with 11,000 staff serving customers in over 1,200 locations across more than 50 brands. With unparalleled coverage of the UK property market, they are uniquely placed to support customers across the residential and commercial property markets.

The Challenge

With responsibility for procuring telecommunications solutions for customers across the UK, the estate management team at Countrywide were struggling with account management. Working with BT, they were required to take out a separate account for each customer which meant issues with bills or products had to be dealt with individually, rather than through one account manager who had knowledge of all of the accounts in Countrywide’s portfolio.

The Solution

Paul Noble, from Countrywide’s new business development team, came across Elite during a Google search when trying to procure a line contract for a client without the need for Direct Debit payments.

After speaking to the account management team at Elite, Paul was impressed that while all of Countrywide’s customers could have their own separate accounts for monthly billing purposes, they would be able to speak to one named contact if they had any issues with one or multiple customer accounts.
