Superfast Gamma Broadband
One of the country’s leading providers of high-speed internet and communications services, Gamma offers businesses exceptional reliability and uptime. Backed by industry-leading SLAs, it guarantees consistently reliable speeds and service levels that few other providers could hope to match.
As a Gamma Platinum Partner, Elite Group is proud to provide Gamma business broadband and its renowned connectivity options to our customers.

How Fast is Superfast Broadband?
With download speeds of up to 80 Mbps and upload speeds of 20 Mbps, superfast Gamma broadband is ideal for a medium or small business with moderate data needs. So if you’re looking to adopt a VoIP digital phone line and cloud communications for the first time, Gamma will be a worthwhile choice.
However, for businesses that have particularly heavy data usage, ultrafast business broadband (also known as full fibre broadband) may be more appropriate. To find out which business broadband connection best suits your needs, speak to an Elite Group expert today.

Superfast vs Ultrafast Broadband
If your business is struggling to maintain resilient connections or if poor download speeds are hindering productivity, ultrafast broadband may be the option for you. While Superfast Broadband is impressive, ultrafast can reach lightning-fast speeds of up to 1 Gbps (that’s 1000 Mbps) and even achieve upload speeds in a similar range. This makes it perfect for businesses that frequently transfer large files or rely on constant video conferencing.
Because it exclusively uses fibre optic cabling, rather than traditional copper wires, and runs directly to your premises (FTTP), you can benefit from the most advanced business broadband speeds in the UK today.

How is Superfast Broadband Installed?
Superfast Broadband uses fibre from the exchange to the street cabinet, with copper completing the connection. This infrastructure is likely already in place, with 97% of UK businesses able to onboard Superfast Broadband. This means installation could be as simple as plugging in your new Wi-Fi router and having Elite Group activate your connection remotely, resulting in fewer upfront costs for you.
From here, you can connect all relevant business devices via Wi-Fi or ethernet, for a robust and reliable service your whole team can rely on.

Customer Reviews
“When we looked at our existing suppliers, side-by-side, Elite Group stood out as the provider who looked after our needs the best. Elite Group were always available to speak with when we contacted them, ready to offer advice, and we had access to a dedicated account manager who ensured our needs were always being met. It made sense that we would look to shift all communications to them.”
“Due to my technology background, I immediately knew that our existing telephony system was not fit for purpose, especially during the stresses of the current pandemic. It was a high priority to support our staff and our customers with the demands of the new way of working. We needed a system that we could use onsite, on the go and from home, which we could manage ourselves, but still have support on hand.”

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Superfast Broadband the right product for my business?
Elite Superfast Broadband is a great cost-effective service for businesses that need internet and voice that goes beyond most home broadband solutions. If only the fastest Broadband service will do, we can see if Ultrafast and Single Order Generic Ethernet Access (SOGEA) is available at your location.
What routers are compatible with Superfast Broadband?
Any router is compatible as long as it aligns to FTTC (VDSL2) connectivity standards. Just like traditional broadband, Superfast Broadband also requires either a separate modem or one integrated into the router.
Can I migrate from another service provider?
Yes. As long as your existing provider uses an Openreach network, we can migrate your analogue line and add a Superfast Broadband service. As soon as your new Superfast Broadband is activated, your current broadband service will end. Please note that some providers, like Virgin Media, do not use Openreach. If your existing service falls into this category, get in touch with us today so we can offer broadband packages that better suit your needs.
How do I find out if I can get Superfast Broadband?
Superfast Broadband has a 97% UK footprint, so there is a high probability that the service is available at your location. If you are unsure about availability or if your existing provider fails to tell you, please get in touch, and we’ll check for you.
What’s the difference between Superfast Broadband and Ultrafast Broadband?
Ultrafast Broadband is a newer connectivity product, with faster speeds, more advanced WiFi technology, and reduced chances of a broadband outage at a cost-effective price point. Elite can also offer a variety of feature-rich voice products that further enhance the service. We recommend contacting the team for more personalised recommendations.
Do you need to access my premises to install the service?
Access to the premises is only required when a new copper line needs to be installed or when access is required to diagnose/repair a fault. Before any installation, we will confirm with you if access is needed and when this will happen.
