    How long does it take to switch existing analogue telephone lines over to elite?

    Frequently Asked Questions
    Elite will apply and take over your telephone line as a ‘like-for-like’ transfer, meaning there will be zero disruption to your telephone line. Transferring to Elite can take around 10 working days and all of your current call features will be taken over and remain unless you inform us otherwise.

    What are Care Levels?

    A Care Level determines the speed with which a fault will be responded to by Openreach. Elite offers various types of Care Levels and you can review each to decide which is best for your business.

    Can I take my number if we move address?

    If you are moving premises within the same exchange area then yes – you should be able to retain your current number. If you are moving outside your existing exchange you can still retain your number by porting it to our inbound number platform.

    How long does it take to install lines?

    Typical lead times are within 10 working days for analogue lines and up to 20 working days for ISDN lines.

    What is CPS (Carrier Pre Selection)?

    Carrier pre-selection (CPS) is a mechanism that allows you to select an alternative carrier to route your voice calls on both analogue and ISDN lines. You can do this in advance, without dialling additional codes or programming your on-site equipment. By using a secondary supplier, substantial savings can be made on calls whether they’re local, national, international or to mobiles.
