We are looking for a Management Accountant Apprentice to join our team! This role sits at group level within NTG, which comprises of Elite Group and Netcentrix.
As a Management Accountant Apprentice, your role is to provide administrative and accounting support for the finance department, working with and assisting colleagues in the timely production of financial management information and reporting packs, contributing to the success of the overall New Technology Group strategy.
The Company will invest in you through study support to attain a professional qualification, and you will be encouraged to work on ad-hoc projects to broaden your skills base.

A day in the life of an Management Accountant Apprentice looks a little like this:
- Creating sales invoices in SAGE.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes for the business.
- Assist the Management Accountants.
- Analyse sales invoicing and revenue data to produce routine reports.
- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation’s.
- Support the year-end audit.
- Spreadsheet work using Excel to produce ad-hoc reports.
- Provide temporary cover for other members of the team where required.
- Ad-hoc duties as requested by the board, or Group Financial Controller.
Role requirements
Some essential criteria for this role includes:
- AAT Level 2 qualified or equivalent accounts experience.
- 5 GCSEs at Level 4 including Maths and English.
- Competent in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook email/calendar, PowerPoint, and Sage 200.
- An effective team player with a precise approach and close attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- A problem solving, solution-based mentality.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Calm and considered working under pressure.
