Windows 365 is for any organisation that needs to secure hybrid work solutions to support a remote workforce or workloads that require versatile computing and storage capabilities, accessed from any device.
Windows 365 is available in two editions: Windows 365 Business and Windows 365 Enterprise.
Windows 365 Business is for smaller organisation (up to 300 users) that want a simple way to buy, deploy and manage Cloud PCs.
Windows 365 Enterprise is for organisations that want to manage their Cloud PCs with Microsoft Endpoint Manager and take advantage of other Microsoft Services, such as Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Endpoint Manager and take advantage of other Microsoft services, such as Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
Customers can purchase Windows 365 as a separate licence per user for a fixed monthly fee to access each Cloud PC. Additional costs may apply based on network usage.
Customers can’t change their existing subscriptions between Windows 365 editions whilst retaining their data on the service. To changed to a different edition, contact your account manager.
Yes, a user may have multiple Cloud PCs assigned to them if needed. For example, a contractor who works for several companies could have a Cloud PC assigned to them by each customer.
Yes. Windows 365 was built with compatibility in mind. Apps that worked on Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Windows 11 will work on Windows 365.
There is no minimum purchase required to access Windows 365. However, some licencing channels, such as Enterprise Agreement, may have minimum purchasing requirements.
