The Background

Regal Fish Supplies have been delivering the finest quality seafood directly to the homes of customers throughout England and the North Wales border since 1989.

They have over 25 years’ experience, a database of 80,000 customers and carry out over 900 delivery rounds from Newcastle to the south coast. Due to a unique purchasing and delivery procedure, they are able to provide a “market fresh” product which is picked and packed specifically for each customer order.

 

The Challenge

Regal Fish Supplies operates across three sites around the UK; a head office in Barton on Humber, a factory in Grimsby and a depot South of Northampton. With multiple sites and a fleet of delivery vehicles on the road, it is vital that communication remains clear between all operations at all times.

Regal was looking for a telecoms supplier who could fulfil its telecoms needs as well as provide an excellent customer support package at all times.

 

The Solution

Elite was able to offer this solution, proposing a calls, lines and NTS number solution from the outset, on to which additional services have
been added over the years.

Mike Brummitt, general manager of Regal Fish Supplies, said: “With various sites and a call centre reliant on the use of phones for both inbound and outbound calls, it was vital that we had a robust solution.

“Straight away, we felt very comfortable that the Elite staff were knowledgeable about the products and services offered and that they would be fully in control should an outage or other issue occur.

“Darren Mitchell, our account manager, is superb. Down to earth and easy to talk to, he talks with us regularly over the phone and visits us every quarter to make sure we are happy with the service they
provide.

It really gives us the chance to talk through changes to the business and how Elite might be able to facilitate these changes going forward.

Such conversations have led Regal to add two leased lines with ADSL back up to their business in order to improve efficiencies with the business and move their mobile phone account to Elite, keeping drivers in touch with base while on the road.
